2011 Holy Family Festival
RIDE THE WAVE
It’s that time of year again when our parish and school come together in support of our Holy Family Parish Festival! Our theme for this year is RIDE THE WAVE! The fun begins on Saturday, September 17th, with a wonderful dinner, family-friendly entertainment and teen area, and continues through Sunday, September 18th.
Just as in years past, the major fundraising activity of the Festival is our parish raffle, and we are counting on your help to make this the biggest and best year ever. Enclosed are two sheets of tickets for you to sell or purchase for yourself. For every sheet of 10 tickets sold, you receive a free entry into the raffle. We are asking for a donation of $1.00 per ticket. If you purchase the 20 tickets, you will have actually have 22 chances to win one of the raffle prizes. If you sell the 20 tickets, you will still receive the 2 free tickets for entry into the raffle without having to spend any money from your own wallet.
This year, we’ve added another incentive – each person that sells/buys $40 in raffle tickets will receive 10 Food & Game Tickets to be used at this year’s festival. For each additional $20 in raffle tickets that person turns in, they will receive another 5 Food & Game Tickets. And wait…there’s more…for each student that turns in at least $40 in raffle tickets they will go into a special drawing. Three lucky winners will get to leave campus and go to lunch with Mr. Suarez!

The proceeds will go to Holy Family School to help support our children’s educational needs and spiritual growth. You may turn in your tickets (completed with name, address, and phone number) and money in an envelope either into the parish collection baskets or into the parish or school offices during the week. Additional tickets can be picked up in the school office during regular business hours.
Our goal this year is $40,000 in receipts. With 2,300 parish families and over 300 children attending Holy Family School and Preschool, the goal is attainable. If 2,000 families participate at the minimum level (20 tickets), we would meet our goal. It’s exciting to consider what could be accomplished with that level of support!!!
Help us in achieving this goal. Please help by selling or purchasing 20 tickets. Remember, for selling 20 tickets, you receive two free tickets for yourself and you just may win a fantastic cash prize for yourself.
