Age of Sail - 4th Grade Trip

The fourth grade class takes a trip back in time each year when they participate in the Age Of Sail program in San Francisco. Located in the San Francisco Maritime Museum near Pier 39, the students spend eighteen hours in a journey through history as they learn about all aspects of how life was spent aboard a historic ship. From cooking in the galley, working the deck, managing the rigging, to manning the longboat and much more, the students are also learning about the importance of self-reliance and the strength of their community on deck and off.
