Little Dribblers

The Little Dribbler Program is for students in grades 1-4. The overall purpose of this program is for students to have fun while developing basketball skills, teamwork, a sense of community spirit, and to foster physical fitness as part of the overall educational mission of the PAL. The PAL Little Dribbler Program is a non-competitive recreational program.

 

  • Season: winter
  • Games: 1 time a week on Saturdays
  • Practices: typically 1 time a week on campus

Volunteers Needed this Saturday

On March 3, we will be hosting St. Mels for Little Dribblers. We will need volunteers for the following:
Set up (8-9 am)
Clean up (5-6 pm)
Snack bar, scoreboard and referee for each game

 

Anyone who volunteers will receive one non-fundraising point for each hour volunteered. A few reminders for picture day:
Please remind your team to bring their uniforms to school if they will not be going home before photos
Please arrive 15 minutes early for your scheduled time, with the team lined up from shortest to tallest

Game Times:
9:00- 4th Grade Girls
10:00-3rd Grade Girls
11:00-2nd Grade Girls
12:00-1st Grade Girls
1:00PM—Second Grade Boys
2:00PM– Third Grade Boys
3:00PM—Fourth Grade Boys
 
Admission: $1 for Adults
$0.50 for non-playing children
 

Little Dribbler Update for Jan 31, 2012

Dearest Little Dribbler Families,

 

   Hello! I hope you're having a great Catholic School's Week! We play Holy Cross this week (directions on our web site). They do not have a Second Grade Boys team. Our Third Grade girls team cannot play them because they are going to a special Mass, at the Cathedral to receive special recognition as Girl Scouts! :) Wow! Innocent We are so happy for you!
 
This week's Game Times:
 
9am: 4th grade girls
10am: 2nd grade girls
11am: 1st grade girls
Noon: 1st grade boys
1pm: 3rd grade boys
2pm: 4th grade boys
 

Sweatshirts will be arriving by next week! Sooo excited to see them!!! As soon as they come in, they will be delivered to your child's classroom.

 
Picture Day for Little Dribbler's is on February 29, after school. They are to be in full uniform, with appropriate shoe attire (shoes show in the team picture). This picture is in the yearbook! They also will have a chance to take an individual picture. The sports background is very cool! Order forms will be sent home one week before the picture day! Parents are to bring players to the scheduled time. If your child is in extension, please let your coach/team mom know and extension (Miss Keith). Please send their uniform to school that day so they may change before pictures (children in extension).
 
Coaches and team parent will also be in the picture.
