Mrs. Hernandez Kindergarten:

Thank you to all the mothers that were able to join us last Friday for Mother’s Tea, with our dearest Kinder Angels. The children were joyous and thankful for your company. I hope your weekend was full of continued goodness!!! Our end of the year party will be held on May 30, 2012. We will be participating in an end of the year carnival type experience. Twelve booths will be set up with minute to minute games for the children to participate in. There will be popcorn and shaved ice! We will also enjoy BBQ hotdogs, chips and a drink for lunch. Please send in two or three dollars to help cover the cost of food, prizes and other items to play the games. End of the year testing is continuing on. Please check your child’s daily folder for your child’s academic portfolio. It is yours to keep and save for your records. We will also be doing Unit 6 testing in Language Arts. We have finished our Saxon Math program, so we will begin practicing First Grade math concepts and sharp-ening our skills. Please do not allow your child to bring any toys/cards to school. They know they are not sup-posed too, however they are “secretly” transporting them in their backpacks. Thank you for your continued love and support.
