Parent Club

The Parent Club is organized to:
•    Build our Faith Community
•    Support our Fundraiser Events
•    Support all Service Events

All  parents and guardians of registered Holy Family Catholic School students are members of the Parent Club.  The overall success of our school depends on the active participation of our families.

The following are the new guidelines for Parent Volunteers. These requirements will become effective in August 2010:

1.    Each family will be required to complete 40 points for the school year

2.    At least 25 points must be dedicated to fundraising activities

3.    To eliminate the tendency to equate points earned with "hours" on an event, points are awarded on the basis of responsibility, hours spent, size of the event or project and the financial impact to the school. There will still be hourly positions     available.

4.    Families who do not fulfill the volunteer requirements will be required to pay the following:
  • $25.00 for every fundraising point not fulfilled
  • $10.00 for every non-fundraising not fulfilled

5.    Scrip Program

    A)    Each family will be required to purchase $1000.00 in Scrip for the school year  (August to June).

    B)    If a family chooses not to participate in the Scrip program, they may opt out for $200.00

   Here is an example of how the point system will work:

    •    Crab Feed Chairperson - 40 points
     o Crab Feed Set-Up Coordinator (will oversee the cleaning up) - 25 points
       - Clean-Up Committee Volunteer - points for this type of position will be based on the number of hours worked (i.e. 5 hours to clean up will equal 5 points earned)

Family Volunteer Points

As of August 2010, every family at Holy Family Catholic School is required to complete 40 volunteer points during the school year.  The points for which you have enrolled can be found in the spreadsheet links below.

 If you have NOT yet signed up for your volunteer points, your family name will appear in RED. If you are on this list, please contact Mrs. Obmann at 726-6025 or This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Note: These spreadsheets are constantly being updated so please refer to the date if you have recently made a change with the points coordinator, Mrs. Obmann.

 
Volunteer Point Completion Log

Each family is responsible for turning in a Volunteer Point Completion Log at the end of each month, for points completed during that month.  There is no need to turn in a form if you have not completed hours during a specific month.  Forms should be turned in to the office.  If this is not possible, please send the forms to your child's teacher.  Completed hours will be updated on the website on a monthly basis.
