Holy Family School Student Learning Expectations

Holy Family Students are:

ACTIVE CHRISTIANS WHO:
-  Nurture Christlike behavior in one another.
-  Discover the love of God through one another.
-  Have respect for all life and God’s creation.
-  Understand that they are being called to a personal relationship with God.
-  Know the scriptural basis for the sacraments and laws of the Church.
-  Learn to express their faith through liturgical and paraliturgical services.

COOPERATIVE LEARNERS WHO:
-  Know how to work independently and in groups.
-  Articulate ideas in both the oral and written form.
-  Utilize technology to enhance their learning experiences.
-  Create original and high quality products.
-  Know important study skills such as research, note taking, and scientific inquiry.

RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS WHO:
-  Take responsibility for their actions.
-  Are aware of the needs of the community and respond to them.
-  Appreciate and understand our multicultural society.

SELF-AWARE INDIVIDUALS WHO:
-  Understand the importance of making healthy choices and good decisions.
-  Have a great love of learning.
-  Are developing their full physical abilities through exercise and healthy habits.
